What is this?

Anyone? I can't locate any usable info at all on this plant! It was called "Beard Dianthus" and had no botanical name - that doesn't seem to fit. Please post if you know. Thanks much!!

This is one of the Dianthus "Spooky" varieties. Spooky is readily available (not as long "hair")
I've seen this exact specimen pictured on a european web site but they told me that they didn't have any details, but wanted over $100 for 500 seeds - that's when I lost interest ;)
